Over the course of 2008/9, and again in 2010/11, Polymathic delivered key expert witness analysis and deposition testimony on behalf of General Electric Co v. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The results were a settlement of $170m in damages to General Electric Co. Polymathic’s technology analysis pertained to software and hardware systems utilized in wind farm technology, including but not limited to:
- FPGA based hardware systems
- VHDL and Verilog based systems,
- Computer source code (assembly, C, C++)
- Overall system analysis and reverse engineering
